1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Lithos, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Lithos is an AI-powered rock and mineral identification app. You photograph a rock and receive AI-generated information about its likely identity, formation, and properties.

3. Accuracy Disclaimer

Rock identifications are provided for informational and educational purposes only. AI analysis is not infallible. Do not rely on Lithos identifications for safety-critical decisions (e.g., determining whether a substance is hazardous). Always consult a qualified geologist for professional assessments.

4. Subscription

Lithos offers a free tier (3 scans/day) and a premium subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store. Auto-renewal terms are displayed at purchase. You may cancel at any time via your Apple ID subscription settings. No refunds are provided for unused subscription periods except as required by applicable law.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, offensive, or inappropriate images
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Use the service to train AI models without written permission
• Circumvent usage limits or access controls

6. Intellectual Property

Lithos and its content are owned by Yasin Sancaktutan. AI-generated identification text is provided as-is with no copyright claim by us.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
